A topical gel containing the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Diclofenac. It is a white, non-greasy, water based gel for temporary relief of local pain and inflammation in acute soft tissue injuries and localised soft tissue rheumatism including sprains, tendinitis, bursitis and sports injury. This medicine is not suitable for treating bruises. Use only as recommended. The amount you will need depends on the size of the painful or swollen area (usually an amount ranging in size from a cherry to a walnut will be enough). Do this 3-4 times each day. Wash your hands after rubbing it in unless they are the area being treated. Voltaren emulgel can be used up to two weeks if you need it and see your pharmacist or doctor if your condition has not improved after the two weeks. DO NOT USE this product if you have an allergy to diclofenac, aspirin and any other NSAID medicine. |
