Delivery Instructions and Timeframes
You will be asked for shipping address upon payment. The order is processed within the business day.
Australia Post handles the delivery. The estimated delivery time is 1 business day for Express option or up to 5 business days for Standard option.
Paying by Cheque
If you choose to pay by cheque or money order, make the cheque payable to: Keilor Village Pharmacy. Please write your name and Pharmacy Online order number on the back of your cheque, and enclose a photocopy of your driver’s licence or other signed identification (e.g. concession card, student card).
Items purchased by cheque will be dispatched when the cheque has cleared. If your cheque is dishonoured, eMedical reserves the right to pass on any associated charges to you.
Paying by Direct Debit
If you prefer, you may pay using direct debit using Internet Banking only, made payable to:

Please include your name and Pharmacy Online order number into the transaction.
For orders requiring a prescription, you must post the original prescription signed by your doctor, after placing your order. If this is a concession prescription, we also require you to send us a photocopy of your valid concession card the first time you use eMedical Pharmacy Online.

No postage stamp is required. On receipt of the prescription and documentation supporting your eligibility for concessional pricing, we will immediately dispatch your order.
If we do not receive a prescription for an order that requires one, any prescription items will be removed from the order.
Non Prescription Orders
For orders not requiring a prescription, dispatch will commence immediately on ordering.
Delivery Fee – Within Australia
For deliveries within Australia, you have a choice of the standard $6.95 or express delivery $10.95, providing the total weight of your order is less than 500 grams and no special packaging is required.
For non-standard orders (greater than 500 grams, fragile or bulky items) the cost will vary. eMedical online pharmacy Australia will contact you to advise and confirm the total cost including the adjusted delivery charge. If you order includes a PBS General, PBS Authority, Concession or Safety-Net prescription the $6.95 delivery fee is waived.
If you have ordered non-standard items as described above, the delivery fee will be discounted by $6.95
Delivery Fee – Outside Australia
All orders outside Australia, you have a choice of the standard Air Mail $30 or Express Post International $62. Both of these mail services provide for tracking your parcel via the Australia Post website www.auspost.com.au/track. We will email you your parcel tracking number once completing your order.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
You may send an email to inquire about the cost of sending your order to your country. Otherwise, eMedical will calculate shipping costs and charge your credit card automatically. This avoids the delay of checking shipping fees with you before dispatching your order.
The delivery fee for orders outside Australia does not include insurance. eMedical does not take any responsibility for items delivered outside Australia. If you consider the mail service in your country to be unreliable, we strongly recommend that you allow us to organise insurance cover for you.
If you would like insurance please request this in the ‘special instructions’ box when completing your order. Please note that this cover does not allow for items seized by customs in your country. Insurance terms and conditions are available at the Australia Post web site.
Insurance is charged as follows:
- $9.50 for the first $100 of your order
- an extra $3 for every additional $100 or part thereof.

Customs regulations in your country may differ from those in Australia. eMedical takes no responsibility for items seized by customs in your country.
Prescription Medication Outside Australia
Prescription drugs will not be dispatched to addresses outside Australia unless prior arrangements have been made to provide eMedical with a prescription from a licensed Australian medical practitioner. If these arrangements have not been made, eMedical will automatically cancel overseas orders for prescription medications, or remove prescription medications from orders which also contain non-prescription items.
Receiving Your Delivery
Australia Post will deliver all orders directly to the address that you provide. Deliveries require the signature of the person in whose name the order was made. If you are not present at the time of delivery, a card will be left in your letterbox advising that you may collect the parcel from your nearest post office.
Please allow normal postage times for delivery via Australia Post.
For privacy, all parcels will be unmarked and in standard Australia Post protective padded bags, and entirely secure as registered mail.
