Finding Items
You may find the items that you wish to purchase in the following ways:
Searching For Medications
If you know the name of the medication item that you wish to order, enter this name into the search field on the right-hand section of the screen and click on the “Go” button. Alternatively, you can use our advanced search facility by selecting the magnifying glass button. The advanced search function allows you to search by name, manufacturer, cost and product name.
Non Prescription Medications & Other Items
You may buy supplements, vitamins and other pharmacy items from the pharmacy directly. They are grouped into ‘Non-prescription medicine’ and ‘Other pharmacy items’.
Prescription Medications
You will find it easiest to order these medications by typing the name of the product into the search window of the prescription section. Alternatively, you may browse the shelves by selecting from the alphabetical listing for the first letter of your medication. Prescription items are only available to customers within Australia.
Selecting a prescription
You will need to choose the correct type of prescription matching the script your doctor has prescribed for you. This prescription must be mailed to our pharmacists at: Free Post: Reply Paid 80 KEILOR VIC 3036, before we can fulfil your order.
If we do not receive a prescription for an order that requires one, any prescription items will be removed from the order.
Check Trolley
On moving to this section, you will be able to check all the items you wish to purchase, change the quantities of non-prescription products, and remove any items if you have decided not to purchase them.
Prescription Repeats
If there are repeats marked on your prescription you may opt for the pharmacy to help you manage your prescriptions automatically. The pharmacist will hold your prescription and forward the new issue as needed (generally monthly). If there are no repeats marked on your script, you may go directly to ‘submit’.
Delivery Address
Your day time delivery address is important. If you are not present at the time of delivery your medication it will be sent to your nearest Post Office. eMedical Online Pharmacy only accepts credit card payments for ordering your medication. Your credit card details may be kept to save you time in the future by selecting the ‘Store for future use’ option. You will need to collect the goods from the post office at a time that is convenient for you. Australia Post will send you reminders that the order must be picked up; they will only attempt to deliver the goods to your nominated address once.
Credit Cards
You may pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners.
When you submit your credit card details, eMedical automatically checks with your bank for confirmation. If a credit card is declined, it means that your bank has declined it – not eMedical. The most common reasons for banks declining credit cards are incorrect card numbers or expiry dates. Please check these details carefully when completing the form.
eMedical can keep your credit card details to save you time in the future. Select the ‘Store for future use’ option when completing the credit card details page.
